If anyone.. for whatever reason.. needs to use a Car to get to this event... we just found out that for two adults and a Minx it is £124.75 Times of travel effect the cost too The very nice man with the nice accent on the phone suggested that bookings be made sooner rather than later as it's Easter Holidays and there's a "bike thing" going on.. Bless his

Leave the car at the port, and come as a foot passenger. Get a pilly on t'other side. I'd be more than happy to oblige, but I would expect summat in return.... a pint of guiness should do nicely

Let us know what ferry you are on and I'm sure there will be plenty of us willing to help get you all and your camping gear to the campsite. REMEMBER YOUR BIKING GEAR.

Seems a lot of money just to drive a few miles to the campsite and park the car up, there will be plenty of spare pilly seats on the Sat and Sun for any rideouts. So you wont be stuck on the campsite all weekend. Check with the ferry company to see if there is a safe place to leave the car at the ferry terminal.

My daughter Laura is crossing in her car. she'll already have one passenger for trips out round the island but could fit in another one or two. And I'm sure she wouldn't mind helping ferrying camping gear from the Broderick ferry etc

Spoke on the phone to another customer today who lives on Arran and she says as well as seeing seals every day and porpoises they also see Orcas...yes, KILLER WHALES. Might be a bit early when we are there but I'm taking my binoculars....whoopee!

Car, 2 passengers & 2 bikes + riders already booked Bill. As soon as there's any mention of calmac we know it will cost an arm & a leg cos they have you over a barrel. But if you want to get to the islands, no choice really

Awwww Mic.. still owe me one! Anyhoooo am sure they will all raise a drink and salute you It has been decided that in this event.. the car will be coming so two spare seats available if needed and plenty of space to "carry stuff" ~ Between us and Minnie's daughter.. we could provide quite the lusher than lush taxi service Will fill the boot with Bacon and Propa Geordie Stotties! Numnums! Thank you for all the offers of pilly rides for the three of us.. for sure.. my Minx is still going to want to give it a shot!!
