Mate I live down here and yeah it gets busy in summer and on bank holiday weekends as do most places in the country that are ..worth going to on a bank holiday weekend...its a nice place and so people go there lol. The A30 is a fast road at the best of times and on a bike even when the roads are busy you can still filter no problem...... well we all hope you can come if not have a good one anyway John

Been back today to Chy Carne and we will go for it. Sea views, bonfires allowed, £6.50 per person per night and an extra £3.25 electric hook up per night. The main camping field is an extensive well maintained area with splendid views of the local countryside and the Atlantic Ocean. We will have use of a small marquee as well, bring our own alcohol. I spoke to the bar 2 minutes walk, they open at 12 midday until 1 am and serve food etc. They also have a clean modern shower block for free complimentary showers. also laundry room with dryers if required. We will book individually, I have e-mailed my booking to them warning them off for a group of 15 -20 there is plenty of room if more decide to come, so if you call or use the online booking form 'quote "run to the sun" to stay with the group I have asked to stay near hard standing and the marquee. Take something to put your side stand on as it is grass if you park the bike next to tent. Im sure we can find some thing locally. Link to online booking, http://www.camping-cornwall.com/booking.html let me know when you have booked so I know who is confirmed. Cheers John

get in there Run to the Sun is a gooooooo and for all middle earthers and Yeti's for the sake of the May bank holiday weekend a truce shall prevail across the shores of this Duchy of cornwall, so make it to here and you can roam free amongst the land of 6 fingered hands and feet but be sure to be back in safe soil by midnight on the monday or the traps will be reset by the middle earthers with there three toes lol on your route North to gods country...

ahhh its a rare form of haggis made from a secret old recipe and concocted with certain herbs and spices that render the eater invisible to middle earthers for my escape run past the shire on easter leave lol
