which is situated on it's own private beach, Morris has given a special
price of £7.00 per head, per night, no matter what the size of tent.
From the private beach you can see seals and porpoise play . Won't repeat all the details again as it's on the event page.

Got some bit's and bob's of information:
My printer has gone caputt - so im just sending a letter with my deposit covering the questions on the booking form on the Seal Shore web site.
Traveling from the South up the M6:
Once passed Carlisle the next cut off is to Gretna village - DON'T take this, take the next on the left which is signposted A75 to Dumfries
At Dumfries follow the signs A76 to Kilmarnock
At Kilmarnock take the A71 west to Irvine
At Irvine take the A78 north following signs for Ardrossan
At Ardrossan there are plenty of signs to the ferry terminal.
Ferry docks of Brodick on the Isle of Arran - details to get to Seal Shore to follow. I am going across on the first ferry at 7am Friday, so I can meet the ferries as they come - let me know if this would help.

There are a variety of things to do on the Island, here are just a few:
The Arran Malt Distillery, Lochranza - visitors center and guided tours (John) Panman we spoke about this at the weekend
Arran Dairies Ice-cream shop in Brodick (a special for Madhat) flavours from classic Strawberry, Rich Chocolate to 'Cranachan'
Ocean Breeze RIB Tours - from 1 hour trips at £20, check out the varied boat trips on www.obrt.co.uk will be a good opportunity to see the wildlife from the sea.
Arran Heritage Museum, Rosaburn - a collection of buildings & exhibits reflecting social history of the Island
13th Centuary Brodick Castle & Country Park - former home to the Montrose family now owned by the National Trust.
There are other action activities available - have a look on the Isle of Arran Website. The road around the island is a lovely biking road, with plenty of stop offs on the way if folk want.

There's nothing cut in stone, this a a little information to be going on with. At the end of the day this is your break away, and you want to go do your own thing and meet up at night. Whatever makes people happy is good with me, Katie
There are other routes that Dean-o has suggested through Muirkirk & the route that Sharky mentions also - mine is only a suggestion because I know the road and it's got some lovely curvy roads for the bike. If anyone wants to come up on Thursday, I can put some folk up with out any problem. Only thing is im going early doors - let me know if I can help with ANYTHING at all folks
Paul can't make this due to work commitments... sooooooooooooo.. if there is anyone.. out there.. wanting to "car share" then they would be more than welcome...

ps and yes.. even if I pass my CBT in March and could get Minx pillied.. think it's a bit far for her.. hence either way I will be coming in a car..

Gremlin I paid £57 as well although there are some who are going via a wee ferry coming into the back of the Island, with Paneurojim - Im catching up with him tomorrow so will get him to post the details on here. I'm sure Shawy is going that way. I will post about that crossing tomorrow hun

Cos of the bank holiday the week after and the week before we are short staffed in work so I cannot get the time off, I have been trying but finally got last week, the email telling me I had no chance at all :-(
