A run round the Cambridgeshire countryside followed by a bacon & egg buttie and tea at the Triumph dealer in Eye. Bit nippy on the digits but well worth it.
A quick blast down to the Holly View cafe, then on to the Oakdene for breakfast. On to East Peckham and Yalding followed by Maidstone, then cut across country to Rainham to give my daughter a surprise visit.
The cobwebs are now truly gone
ton-fifteen on quedgley by-pass on way back from lower lode inn at forthampton, roads a bit scuzzy and gravel and potholes all over lanes down to pub,and 'kin cold on way back, but only 50 mile round trip so not too bad...a birthday blast to loosen cobwebs and dispel cabin fever......glass of southern comfort to complete day...x
First off: Happy birthday to Jinx....they seem to come around quicker every year! Went out on the Spyder today....just to get some more experience riding it especially through the corners! The 'Beast' is certainly different! Gradually getting there though. Only about 30 miles today....I was waiting at a light and the guy in a car behind me actually got out of his car and asked me what it was! I only had time to tell him that it was a trike made in Canada...then the light changed and I was off! In the mirror saw the bloke running back to his car as there were quite a few cars queued behind him! LOLz.
A short runout on the trike to Hatton country world, took me sister in law on the back for the 1st time, she is used to being pilly as her hubby is a biker, she said she ended up with a numb ass n thinks she is going deaf from my noisy trike........................
Brough to Hawes- Coffee & choccy. Hawes to Manor cafe in Leyburn- coffee & bakewell tart. Lovely seeing biking chums I haven't been out with since last year. There and back length of Wensleydale. Overtook a tractor & yes, yes first proper overtake of a car
Back home freezing with cramp in clutch hand, ankle & thigh, but I don't care! ....hmmm think those muscles got used to not being used
