I balanced a chicken chow mein, a portion of chilli garlic spare ribs, a fried rice and prawn crackers on my tank from the chinese takeaway, over the Skye bridge to home. Then to add insult to injury, I made it wait until I had tucked the bike to bed. Priorities, right?
Been poorly, weak, wimpy, hot, bothered & thoroughly fed up for 3 weeks. Head all fuzzy and dizzy and not capable of holding my bike upright
BUT...it's finally passed over last couple of days and tonight been out on my bike for the first time in 4 weeks....HALLELUJAH!!!
Only a little, modest dusk-time pootle....down to motorway junction, back along bypass (70 mph yeay, thrash my 125 baby!)
Oooh lovely sunset
Back round Kendal one way system for a quick pose through town and to hear the delicious sound of my completely ridiculous screamin eagles bouncing off the walls in the narrrow streets....absolutely no need for circuit of town bit....but why not cos it was too early to go home....hahaha.....sooooooo gooooood
No bloomin slow hatchbacks in front of me on the A65 tonight holding up procedings either Rich!
Lake District roads are delightful at dusk time ...there's nobody on em
Oh my goodness it's such a relief to be restored to normality after feeling crap & under the weather...and there's nothing like a bike blast on a hot muggy night....priceless...still buzzin
Bloody hell weeny to Matlock could park anywhere, turned round had some chips from a fantastic chip shop next to a BP petrol station In Bleper highly recommended
Tilyk, you came to Belper and didn't say hello?! Tut tut!
The legend that is Emzed came to fit a steering damper to Divvy, he then rode the bike so I could sit in the "bug" to Matlock. I squealed with excitement (and fear) all the way!
Been to Billingham, Been to Hartside, Been back to Billingham and got p*ss wet.. Been to Darlo and met Rockchick, Dave and Minx. also met XK and Centurion and Partner. Escorted Rockchick, Dave and Minx from Darlo to A19, back to Billingham ironically, and it was super persisting it down by then. Well done to Anne for riding in that crap weather. Eventually got home 230ish miles later and waiting for me was still warm Chicken Chow mein. Aye, it's been a good day.
