Following
the success of the 2011 event we will be returning to The Anchor Inn at
Friskney in South Lincolnshire for the 2nd BM Autumn Camp. This will be
over the weekend of Friday 28th - Sunday 30th September 2012 with live
bands on both nights - bands will be confirmed nearer the time. Free tea
and coffee throughout the weekend, late bar, and reasonably priced
food. There will be a charge for this year's event which is £5.00 per
person for the whole weekend, payable on arrival. This is primarily a BM
members event but guests of members are welcome. Please note that food
and drink not purchased from the pub may not be consumed on site.
Bands are now confirmed though Bill; lol.
Friday night: The Rooters + My Disco (out of retirement gig)
Saturday night: Piledriver
Rooters are a classic rock covers band
Piledriver are a Quo tribute band
My Disco is going to be interesting after a 12 year break; lol
Only a fiver folks, payable on arrival. So cheap even an RBS Banker could afford it without a bonus.

lol, very good David. My days of lugging record boxes around are long gone. I'm plugging laptop into The Rooters mixing desk. DJ's these days have it so easy; I used to carry 10,000 records in and out of venues; lol.
Following the success of the Autumn Camp last year we're returning to The Anchor Inn at Friskney in rural Lincolnshire in 2012.
The wekend will run from Friday 28th until Sunday 30th September with great bands, beer, food, and hospitality.
Camping is in the pub garden for the first 40 (approx) tents, then the neighbouring field will be used.
Friday Night: The Rooter will be playing classic rock covers backed up by my rock disco.
Saturday Night: Piledriver who are a Quo tribute band.
Ride Out on Saturday with Bikabill.
Tea and Coffee is available throughout the weekend. Just help yourself and please make a donation in the tin which goes to the pub's chosen charity.
Toilets and shower room are available 24 hours.
The pub have a rule that only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed on the premises. Please respect this.
Please note that cars are not permitted on the field or in the garden. You are welcome to come in a car but will need to park on the road or nearby parking area. If you need assistance carrying your camping gear from your car please let me know and I will arrange something.
Following a slight problem last year can all those attending please ensure they clean up after themselves when they leave. It is unfair for others to have to collect rubbish, g;asses, etc after you leave.
The weekend is just a fiver per person payable on arrival so get your names down and let's end the season with a party to remember.

This was a good do, must do it again this year.
The field was fine, no cockerels to bother about
Just a few dodgy "craters" that could do with sorting
tea and coffee "on tap" was brill, so we just need to make sure we donate to cover the costs to keep the facility going
Looking forward to this again, especially as its likely the last camping do of the year (for me anyway... getting too cold )
If you didn't hear the cockerels David I think you better get your ears tested; lol. They won't be a problem this year anyway because we're going to put them in XK's tent when he's not looking.
Craters is an understatement! I fell in one on the way back to my tent :( Grass could have done with a trim, must remember to pack a strimmer along with my hair straighteners this year :)
