I asked that Bill - it's to do with fittings on the ferry for the bikes. They sais that even if the ferry was empty they could still only take 9 bikes. Seems crazy really - I'm booking my ferry Monday so will post all details then. I'm so looking forward to this. Woooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I've booked my ferry today Friday 6/4/12 from Ardrossan to Brodick on the Isle of Arran returning Monday 9/4/12. Cost for Bike & Rider £57.25 if a pillion then plus £10.75. number to book is 0800 066 5000. Seal Sore Camp Site - the owner is away till February, his daughter will receive emails sent, therefore, to book your pitch email enquiries@campingarran.com the cost is £7 per person per night. The phone number if you would rather wait to February is 01770 820 320. I will be in touch nearer the time via the thread on the events forum. Any queries please pm me. Look forward to seeing there if not before. Directions will be given in full prior the camp. Sarah an I may have to pull outa this one....dnt wanna miss it \I assure you but there much going on in our personal lives as many of you aware and time and money may be in short supply April. Really unsure at mo so we not going to confirm anything and take our chances if we find we can go..we need around £4-450 to do this trip from here spread over a weeks travel and camp....we need a week off work and childminder fer a week too....I should be moving early march and WMF possibly too around then....dunnoo all up in air! So,we just have to see wat occurs over next few months....local stuff will be easier to manage and as situation settles things will become clearer... soo sorry BK and all...xx

almost tempted but will depend on the weather. when it snows i can see Arran from my house....and it looks bleak! might have to buy a tent an all! havent camped for 8 years or more deb
