Hi details of this annual event are on the Cholmondeley castle website. Status quo are opening on the Friday night June 13.
Something happening in Cheshire!!
Looks like a good event and only just down the road, I'll definitely give this some thought. Although it clashes with the Download Festival @ Donnington
I saw Quo in Liverpool last month, not sure if I really want a second dose so soon, but open to persuasion! Apart from that, the Pageant of Power is a good weekend out. Go for it!
I've been last few years, its like Goodwood festival of speed only smaller, easily do-able in a day.I'll be going friday as going for Quo as much as PoP.I don't do camping so one day for me.
As the weather is still so poor it might seem hard to think of warm summer evenings dancing in the beautiful park to Status Quo ! Those days will soon be here! Really they will. Tickets are on sale - see the web site
I will be there again this year, don't forget to come and say hello, I will be on the Nabd stand and if you don't know about nabd and the good work they do then even more reason to pop by and say hello.
Hahahaha HF
At least they can remember the 3 chords
Unlike some of the so called "bands" who were @ Southport
Anyway according to one famous musician
Any more than 3 chords is showing off
Looking fwd to this...been several times and its an amazing event in my oppinion, watching the Battle of Britain flight stage a dogfight last year, and in glorious sunshine a real treat, plus of course all the cars and bikes to view...only down side for me is that its only about a 10 to 15 minute ride away from my home, so pointless staying to camp for me...uuummm... well depends on what I have to drink on the day..lol may need some floor space in someones tent then....lol
I had free tickets for the weekend last year.... there were some awesome motors there although the weather was a little damp to really show them off.... I'll have to see if I can wag some tickets for this year's event.... or sneak through the gate in the 1929 Chevy
