Has anyone else suffered expanding plastic petrol tank issues ? My morini ( corsaro ) the paint has cracked in several places. Iveheard about eepoxy resin can be used ? Anyone tried this be good to hear . Keep ur wheels turning . Nicnaks

Nope, so far so good. Never had an issue.

Normaly ride BMW's or Hondas.

Niknaks, are you sure it's an ethanol problem ?. The ethanol added to lower grade fuels tends to dissolve the resin on older fibreglass tanks, the modern stuff is ok.

I had an issue with the tank on my BSA and had it completely refurbished and lined with a modern fibreglass resin.

You can try these tank sealants but it depends on the state of the tank in the first place and you need to chose the correct brand to do the job.

If you stick to high grade fuels you should avoid any ethanol, if in doubt use an additive to neutralise it.
