A guy called round early one morning for a pilly to RoR. Our last cuppa before we kitted up, just relaxing & chatting when all hell broke loose !! Bedlam, mayhem call it what you will. A squirrel chased by a cat done a wall of death around the room from an open back door. Ornaments, lamps & misc' stuff flying everywhere, hanging pictures off the wall as well, we just sat there in silence, tea in one hand, fag in the other while we calmly watched the entertainment. Squirrel & cat disappeared & we softly said was that a squirrel being chased by a cat, I think so was the reply, a quick check in the back garden saw a squirrel on the fence & a cat going ballistic underneath. One of those split second once in a life time events that flashes before your eyes so quick you have no time to react.
Ha ha ha made me laugh imagining you sat there wondering what the heck was going on. Hope they didn't do too much damage.
I had a similar ' I can't believe what just happened' experience, about half an hour ago. I was looking at a weather app and when i clicked on an icon, for more info, a pornographic video started.
This morning approaching the final roundabout before pulling into the carpark at work; checked, indicated, checked again... wtf? - a moving lamp post, no wait a minute... a tall skinny dude, wearing the full on leather matrix coat and shades, coming around the roundabout on (wait for it) .. a white, push along scooter!
My head was blagged for about an hour, next time I'll get a photo
