mind you Im not surprised...one of my many cousins is paid a fortune to professionally hack into some of the worlds most important IT systems...does frequently...he only has to work some couple of months a year...!
BC - I was studying to be an ethical hacker too, but had to stop when i moved to holland cos i cant write dutch reports.
It's called penetration testing, and is done by very very skilled professionals. Companies pay you to break into their systems, and then write about how you did it basically. You have to tell them how to fix it too, and you cant do any damage whilst in there of course. Would be an ace job, and pays LOOOADS. Id still love to go for it, maybe when mijn nederlands is beter.
Go on Matt, go for it...I know Michael earns a shed load...and doesnt have to work for many months of the year, has a huge house in London and will probably retire at 50! He also has the luxury of picking and chosing from those who headhunt him...what a lucky fella....hes much younger than me is my cousin...so Im very proud of him...bless him..
