Thanks guy's, got the old gs750 running yesterday after an all nighter of rewiring the dodgiest wiring ever, looks like it was wired up by Stevie Wonder and then chewed on by the 3 blind mice!

Let me put it this way, both coils - were hooked up to one point and both coils + were hooked up to the other, that's the kind of fuckey I have been dealing with lol
