What does everyone think of the new ride by wire throttle system that are coming to bikes? Would you really trust them like you do with a cable?

Wouldn’t like to use it under a low bridge or riding through a tunnel. But the idea is a sound one!!

If you are hurtling towards a brick wall passing under a low bridge or through a tunnel then it won't matter either way really Corni.

Why does 'ride by wire' keep making me think of a tethered model plane whizzing round in circles..maybe that's where they borrowed the expression from...hmmm
