Personally I have taken pillions on ride outs and charity events. However with bike club weekly ride outs the members are covered by club Insurance only. Can be an issue in the event of any accident...Stay safe..

if you have a motorcycle or car all seats must be covered under your insurance policy it is the law and insurance companies can not only insurance for rider or driver unless the bike or car is not capable of carrying a passenger

Yes pillion passengers are always welcome with me, as long as they they're confiden and trust the rider. Remember Its a bond that grows with time.
