Welcome BBG. What PPL do you hold? IFR or VFR. single or multi engine.
I was an Airframe engineer so am sad enough to find these things interesting.
I'm surprised our glorious leader Matt hasn't spotted you hold a ppl as he's just got his.
Time was when I used to be a wannabe rocket scientist. Does that count? Of course, rockets don't usually have pilots but I once met a man who did. Quite a few times, including to the moon and back, twice. Planes and bikes often go together, I find. Welcome on board BBG, I'm sure you can be as bonkers as the rest of us after a very short time!
Thank you all for such a warm welcome, yep I will probably end up as crazy as you all, but then I have a head start anyway!
In reply to the ? about PPL's, I hold a SEP, VFR, for 22yrs now. Have owned my own aircraft in the past, but now just a share. Currently on around 350 hrs P1. Fly out of central Norfolk.
As I dont own a bike, if I am not lucky enough to hitch a pillion ride, I may have to arrive to meets in the plane, so help me!!!!
