the internet is the wrong place to find what you are looking for (unless its a new kitchen!) as regards a soul mate. Some people strike lucky, others don't.

I find that the best way is not to view the internet as a means of finding a soul mate... but as a means of having a cheap way of socialising with people you might not be so likely to meet in your day to day life. I've made some great RL mates which started off as internet chats. Some of which have turned out to be closer and more supportive friends than people I've known for years and years in RL.
It's good to take some time out from it though - internet stuff can get very intense and it's a proper time-gobbler!
I 2nd that BJ,i've met Rose and DC and both are surely going to be missed by us all,ghosthunter i've never met you but will miss your comments on here as well! here's hoping that you find what your looking for and return to BM someday. cheers exc.

Agree with what WB says, treat the net as a way of socialising. I too have found some really good mates on here, people that will remain good friends for a very long time and I consider u one of my mates too.. (ive still got them books if u want em back lol)
Never give up.. treat lifes ups and downs as a learning curve... not always good.. but not always bad either.
I'm not at my best right now..and havent been for a while..hence the lack of presence on here...but im climbing back up and you will too... race ya to the top!

I have to agree with whats been said by others tho, Mr_P & I met online 3 1/2 years ago & yes we have had our ups & downs have seperated & got together again, but we have worked through things & come out the other side with big smiles .
Lots on here know both of us & know how we are together, here is a social site for both of us, we enjoy rides out, when I was looking for a new 125 as I failed my mod 1 I got a lot of help off people on here & now we have some very good friends & have some good times with them.
I hope you feel better soon & give it a go, just enjoy meeting people & I bet when you least expect it 'BANG' it happens for you
Sorry to hear your leaving Ghosty but i can understand your reasons.I'm glad i got to meet you and i'm sure our paths will cross again someday.
Soulmates can't be found bud,the universe brings them to you when the time is right,usually when you least expect it.Your a great guy with a truly wicked sense of humour,don't change a thing and she'll find you sooner than you think.
Not met you gh but respect your feelings. Guess that loads of us oin here have experienced down and empathise with you. One day you will come thro and the sun will be shining again.

GH i only met you for the 1st time on sat at the rttw, its a shame to see you go from bm, like a lot of other people I am using this site as a socializing site. I have made a great many freinds though bm as well and it has also been a great support network for me during the last 18months. When I first joined I was about as low in my life as I could get,and often unbeknown to people i would be in tears while in the chatroom, but with talkin on there about total drivval and having a laugh would come off feeling a lot better. AS those who frequent the chatroom will know I'm in there at some point most nights, its better to talk in the cyber world than to sit on your own and be bored. There have been other folk who I also talk to on msn now from bm who have been there for me and picked me out the gutter many a time. GH dont give up on the internet just yet, use it in a way that suits you best. X
