Emails will no longer be sent from Biker Match to those who do not use the website and do not keep their email address up to date.
You will be prompted every 90 days to re-verify your email address.
After 120 days, if you've not verified your email address and logged in, then you will stop received all email from BikerMatch (Including matchmaker alerts, newsletter, new private message and nod notifications, etc).
We're required to keep our data valid, as bad data (Such as expired email accounts) may get our servers blacklisted.

Matt.....so is this a good way of removing OLD accounts off here after the 120 days NON verification cos I wud guess there are alot of dormant accounts on here
I may be mistaken J9 but the only profiles removed are those where the member has been banned, apart from spam profiles which are removed a.s.a.p . All other profiles are left, whether the member uses the site regularly or not.
Some members get dating so we don't see them for a long time, then some of them find themselves single again so revisit the site, if their profile had been deleted they wouldn't be able to join in again until they recreated a profile.
Slow reply from Matt may be cos he's busy back and forth to the hospital, he's in an awful lot of pain.
We never remove profiles unless it's a spammer or someone else being a nuisance. And yes the reason is that the majority of our members are people who once had an account and are returning after a long period of time. Most of the active people you see now online once disappeared for 6 months or more and came back again.
You can use the advanced search page to filter out people who haven't been active for a while
