More than 12,000 MCN readers have responded to Biking Britain Survey last year, and their combined scores on the bikes they own and love (or hate) have allowed MCN to put together a list of their readers top 100 bikes. I noted that theres only 13% difference between no.1 and no.100 - no.1 being the Ducati 1098 (07-on) with a total of 94%, and no.100 being the Honda XL1000V Varadero (01-on) with a total of 81%, so not a lot in it really.... Where does your ride appear and do you agree with it's positioning on the list ? check out the list on motorcyclenews.com /MCN / Top-100- Bikes

Came in at 57 but nice to see 3 Trumpets in the top 5. Will be interesting to see where the new Commando will slot in when it gets into production.

Not sure how they arrived at the figures. Obviously suprised/disappointed the World's best sports tourer only came in at No.53, tho good to see 3 of the top 5 built at Hinckley.

Its the more common bikes that will be more popular as more people vote for them. If you've got a common bike and it's not up there then it must be rubbish or lazy owners. Quite happy that a far less common bike like the cb1300s come in front of the pan. which is common as muck. completely irrelevent list though.

Happy to see the VFR400 listed at No.7........ not bad for a bike that has not been made for about 18 yrs and could hardly be described as common... Doris is 24 yrs old

Blackbird 22nd? What!? I wouldn't swap it for any other bike!

As Blues points out it's a pretty irrelevant list... it's really more a list of bike owners who could be bothered to fill in the questionnaire
