The Num Bum Run is a Lands End to John O'Groats motorcycle ride,
organised by Cliff Williams, where a serving British soldier called Andy
Reid will be taking part on a specially adapted trike.
Andy was seriously injured in Afghanistan in October 2009 by an IED, resulting in him losing both legs and his right arm.
In
addition to the trike, there will be two 125cc scooters ridden by Cliff
and Karl covering around 250 miles per day - hence the name NUM BUM
RUN!!
The website said there was a petrol stop scheduled at the texaco garage on the A6 just outside kendal. Errrr, there is no texaco garage. Did they have a petrol stop in Kendal wozabee? I got to see Andy and you all go blasting past when I stopped up shap
