If you remembered 0-3 = You're still young
If you remembered 3-6 = You are getting older
If you remembered 7-10 = Don't tell your age
If you remembered 11-14 = You're positively ancient!
I must be 'positively ancient' but those memories are some of the best parts of
my life.
Don't forget to pass this along!!
Especially to all your really OLD friends....I just did!!!!!!!!!
(PS. I used a large type face so you lot could read it easily)
Bloody 'ell Jacko, .. like you, I must be 'positively ancient'
The only one I dont remember for certain is the news reels before the movie !!!
One item not on there, is the 'copper', that my gran used to do the boil wash in .. .. There was even a 'copper stick' that was used to churn it all about with.
For the youngsters reading this .. the copper stick was NOT a a length of copper, but a piece of wood around 2 feet long (600mm) Lol
I have deliberately not bothered to use large font so you're gonna have to get your glasses out
Erm i remember twelve :-) but then again i look round the gym and realise i'm the oldest in there :-( age is all in the mind, if i can just remember where i left it
10!! I dreaded "wash day" as it meant standing on the mangle getting soaking wet while me Ma wrang the water out the laundry. Valves in t.v's... space patrol... picture book. ah it was all so simple then!!
