So today, we learn that 'Pontins' has gone into liquidation. When will it all stop??? I spent most of my childhood holidays at a Pontins camp somewhere or another....usually the one in Prestatyn!!! I know that 'stuff' has their day, but I can't help thinking just what the hell will be left in this country worth being proud of. We have lost so much industry in the UK, is it any wonder people are 'jumping ship'.

It's true, I was talking to one of my daughters little friends the other day and I said I miss Woolies....she didn't know who Woolies were!!! Shocking. The only leviathan I can see on the horizon is Tescos they'll be around forever and probably monopolise free commerce into the bargain.
