I've just posted details [awaiting approval] of an annual Toy Run that i participate in and have done for the last 25 years.
It' usually a good laugh and we've managed to get our Police escort back over the last couple of years which helps the marshal's.
There will be tea, coffee and mince pies at the end along with a thank you speech from the Civic representative as they don't Mayor's now and photo session.
All welcome and i'll be there in my marshal bib so you won't be able to miss me. Bring a toy that will go to a good home, i've just been advised that they would prefer educational toys and not cuddly ones, games are advised against as well due to parts going missing but everything else is ok, I know it's a bit fussy considering it for charity.
Wrapping is not essentitial but if you do please indicate boy/girl and age range.
Wrap yourself up and come and join in.
On the toy run I used to attend the recipient charity asked us NOT to wrap the pressies as they will only be unwrapped to check that they are safe and suitable.
May I suggest that you also donate some wrapping paper and selotape to help out the charity?
LOL @ 'wrap yourself up' that'll make for an interesting Christmas day
