The future of motorcycling needs you

Completed this via a different forum.. Message passed on from Dave Gurman: you have been riding for anywhere near as long as I have you will have witnessed more than enough legislation, which has been imposed on the 'motorcycling community' as a consequence of research that started out with an inbuilt anti-motorcycling bias; so it's hardly surprising that many riders are reluctant to fill in questionnaires that might just end up putting the final nail in biking's coffin. That's why I'm taking a moment to recommend Heidi to you. If you are familiar with The Rider's Digest, you will already know Heidi as Lois Fast-Lane and she won't need any further endorsement. However, if you've never been lucky enough to see anything she produced in over a decade of writing for the Digest, you'll just have to take my word for it that nobody ever loved motorcycles with a greater passion - nor articulated it quite as beautifully - as Lois does. So if Lois says that she needs you to tick some boxes so that she can complete a Masters that will furnish her with added academic credibility in her quest to apply a cold clear logic to research into the activity that we all know and love - complete with a PRO-MOTORCYCLING BIAS - then you'd better bloody well do so or have a good reason why you haven't. THE FUTURE OF MOTORCYCLING NEEDS YOU! Please click on Heidi's link and answer the questions - it really will only take you five minutes. Then please forward this on to any and all motorcyclists - and where possible mention it on any biking forums that you are active on - and don't forget to recommend Heidi as one of the good guys. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2k7vv...v7t

I've just completed it too.

I would comment, however, that from Riders Digest (what's happened to it lately?) Lois Fast-Lane consistently produced well balanced and thought provoking articles. Dave Gurman, on the other hand as a former editor, used to spout a lot of politically correct nonsense in an aggressive manner. So the fact that this 'call to arms' was from him and some of the language he used, frankly put me off. As you can see, I nevertheless completed the survey.
