Seems everytime I go out this year there are so many old bill , including the dreaded unmarked car. In the last 3-4 weeks i've seen them on every occasion i've been out. Is it the same where you are?
I think they're like red buses. It seems to follow a regular pattern of not seeing them for what appears to be like weeks, then all of a sudden there are loads of them about.
I hope you're right Ronaldo. I live in Louth Lincolnshire and I saw a first the other day, that was someone actually getting pulled by the police, so it worries me that the powers that be are telling the police to get out and start making some money
Thay have been doing it about 5 days into the month for a long time useing ANPR on car tax mot etc but there more than happy it give out speeding tickets
Yes there are a lot about Blade...... i was outside the penny garth cafe in Hawes and my friend had just told me my back tyre was definatly illegal, when not one, two or three but four police bikers pulled up literally feet in front of me. Needless to say my friend placed himself between them and me and i made a quick exit before they noticed!!!
I have been wary of police ever since driving illegally in Germany when i was living over there and we got flagged down for a on the spot inspection of some sort.......fortunatly i was able to change places with my then husband and they didn't notice.!!!
Nowadays though it's constantly keeping an eye out for them so i don't get done for speeding.....not that i'm a speed freak.....i just like to go a little faster on certain roads..
I've heard now the police have these new gadgets that can get you from 1KM away
yep and a hellicopter that can do you from alot more and if your thinking speed awareness course done be surprized there not giving them out as much now as the gov dont get as much cash from them
Yea, they're just collecting for a new carpet for the piggery, They did me for using a temporary bus lane after school was in. £30 to the tax man bugger.
I saw that gadget that can track you at 1 km away on the news the other day.
Don't get me wrong I like to ride within my limits which is not very fast, but i don't want to be bothered by old bill just becasue i'm on a fast bike!, you know what they are like
There won't be many (if any) Bike cops out and about in Derbyshire after this year, they're being phased out due to costs apparently. I heard that the Force spends over £4000 a month on maintenance and keeping each bike on patrol!!
Matlock Bath thrives on the Sunday biker economy and I've think the authorities take a wiser view nowadays. They used to go on major rampages not so many years ago. It's been relatively quiet there lately.

i pulled up outside the cafe and was ordering my sos and egg sarni
and allong came plod and started to right a parking ticket i was in a time limit zone 2 hrs well i went out and asked why i was getting the ticket the answer was you have been here 3 hours
i told him i had been here a few min and as i was on a big black goldwing it was easely reconizeable had a big argument with him anyway i said if i been here that long feel the exaust
he did and burnt his hand badly he he well i got no ticket

Dont hold your breath about the old bill and no bikes never going to happen as there used for escort dutys and cars just dont work on escort in traffic

in erdington there is some diabled parking right by the pub i use i was in my car in a disabled bay properly parked blue badge displayed corectly and i got a ticket
sunday afternoon outside enforcement houres
why the traffick warden was to short to see the dash bord with the badge on
ok its a 4x4 with lift kits on everything it was stupid and got cancelled after a few emails
