Many congratulations to our very own jacs1973, landlady of the George & Dragon, Hudswell, nr Richmond N Yorks. This pub stood empty for two years before the locals bought it, renovated it, and re-opened it. In a competition to find Yorkshire's favourite watering hole, The G & D came 2nd out of 200 entries. I think a visit is in order, and I propose next saturday. Anybody want to join me for lunch?
