I am messaging on behalf of wenders.

Her dad is in intensive care in hospital after a 10 hour heart operation.

Please say a little prayer for his recovery.

Hey people just a flying visit. First thanks for your prayers and wishes, desperately needed.
Ok, dad is critical in intensive care, he is on life support at mo being kept sedated, he had a very rare heart infection that ate his valve and caused an absys on his aeorta, 10 hours of surgery on thursday to replace his valve and get rid of absys, after his heart stopped on wednesday night and an emergency pace maker fitted. He is seriously ill but fighting, today his kidneys packed up and he had to be put on constant dialysis, a machine is breathing for him, keeping his heart going and keeping his blood pressure from dropping.
All in all he is very poorly but i know he is a fighter. He will be in intensive care in liverpool for at least a month, i am staying in hospital accomodation with my mum and brother.

Heart surgery today is amazing...I hope that dad's body will soon accept the changes, accommodate and come out the other end amazingly well and ready for anything. Your being there will be fantastic for him...and i have a belief in prayer, based on experience...so am sure this thread will be a real strength for you XX
