((hugs))) and get well wishes Bluey is right, it could have been a lot worse, I should know. 4 years ago I fell downstairs at home and hit my face on the newel post. I spent 9 hours in A&E and a 5 hour operation to put my face back together. I'd literally split it from between my eyes, down my nose (poor broken nose!) and top lip. Also split under my eye. My head swelled up like a pumpkin. The surgeon said my face was like an open book. Luckily he was amazing and apart from a tiny very faint scar you can't see anything. However, it took a very long time to recover and the paramedics said to my friend they were surprised I'd not been killed
