All comes down to how the hotel want to manage things. I was last to the counter at Port William and was well impressed that everything had been paid expect my order. We bikers are a fabulous lot. Proud to count myself amongst y'all.
Here's a thought, Steve said he is sending out a menu so we can prebook the meal, so when we order we are given a number. When you go to the bar it's just a matter of stating your number instead of all the faffing around. I was thinking this would be OK with the main and start a tab with minimal problems.
Well since the Hartside Cafe burned down the Nook seems to have taken over biker feeding duties so it would be a shame to miss it out. The two shown on the Westmoreland route are good too if you're passing that way.
The summer menu for The Teesdale is now available... but ain't showing on their website and only at a silly resolution on their faceache page. So we're off down tonight to check it out and grab a copy. This does mean I'll have to sample something. It's difficult this planning thing you know! 🙂
I've uploaded the menus to the events photos. What you need to do is... 1. Pick what you want. 2. Ring up the Teesdale Hotel (01833 640264) and give them your name and order, and pay for it upfront. Reference Steve Harrison's tables. 3. Message me so I know you've booked and paid, BM & real name please.
To give them a fighting chance ring them up be Tuesday evening. If you leave it after that you might not get fed.
I'll message everyone on the attendees list, if you're bringing someone not on the list it's up to you to sort them out.
There is a band on Saturday 16th at the Middletonm in Teesdale Social Club for anyone that's interested. They are called The Roves - you do play the strangest places when you've not yet reached the stadium level as a band 😉
The Teesdale are getting confused so have asked me to sort out the food orders.
So pretty much as per the pervious instruction except you message me with your full name and order. I need all the orders by midday Tuesday 12th April - after that the orders are closed and the un-used seats the pub will reallocate to other customers.
