Watch yourselves - from all reports, snow starts tonight. They reckon we'll have snowman quantities over the next few days, and Kent / SE will be the area where it will keep falling towards the end of the weak.
Hi all, good day at Ecel for Bike Show...well done all those there...
Also Thurs meet at the Gamecock, another good evening until 11pm...lotsa chat an ideas...thanks all.
Next Sat is Canterbury walkabout and wine/beer tasting lol. Meal too..
I am considering the title of this thread needs amending to MEET UP IN THE SOUTH EAST in order to attract wider audience, any comments welcome.
The monthy meeting at the Gamecock is now finalised at every first Thursday of the month and will be on calender soon for whole year.
We are also going to have another regular monthly evening meeting/ride out set up. We want this one to be at various locations throughout the SE area as the Gamecock isnt always within reach for members. So..your suggestions please as to where and when for the next six months. Thats six meeting places and dates for YOU guys to come up with!
Suggestions have included a ride down to Margate fer fish n chips one summer eve,a run to cafe at Wrotham for the bikers weekly wed meet there. Please put fwd suggestions on here and consider PMs to members nearby who could attend it. Then if you want to set it up...feel free to sort it all If not and there a few wanna go I or Sarah can sort it for you...
We working on few more things as well for coming months, detail soon. Andy/Sarah

Thanks for that, I knew it was me making a complete pigs ear of it Sarah .
It would appear bike related events are restricted to track days.
Still the more event info that is posted gives us more choice about where to go.
Dave
Yeah, does look more car orientated but as you say it gives more choices of something to do. After all, as Andy keeps saying, doesn't all have to be about bikes.
What about doing a Pick Up A Pilly day down here like they are doing up north, see if we can encourage some of the more silent members to come out with us ????
Perhaps we could discuss the idea of Pick Up A Pilly further at the next Gamecock meet regarding date & venue to finish at etc etc so that when we send out PMs there is more info to send out ?????. may spark more interest ???
Food for thought
You are probably right there Sarah it did need a womans touch.
Dave
ok dave can do, we got a few gaps to fill in the summers diary regarding local ride outs for those hot summer weekends and long evenings....
We need a couple of parties/BBQs.
A spread of motor/bike sport events.
A regular (weekly) summer evening ride out?
A few longer weekend trips..ie Goodwood/Bealieu/Duxford
Ace Cafe
Rykas Cafe
Quiz eve or two.
As well as attending further flung BM events en masse from the South!
Please keep adding your ideas to the thread and altho I busy with my house move at the moment we can plan another month or so ahead next time we meet up.
Which meets Ermintrude?
Anyone got preference from the list of grasstrack meets prev posted?
Truk racing Brands....anyone else for it? sounds good to me,
We need some more input so we can make decisions at Gamecock meeting on 1st March, then can load onto the events diary the dates / venues.
ride outs need to be thgt about for summer too.....
BRANDS BSB 7-8-9 April I see there a few BM folk attending, advance ticket about £30 for the four days access (practice).
Camping is £16 I think....that said I prob wont camp but will be going to see a day or too of the action.
Anyone else thinking of going too?
There already a calender posting for the event so add your name and we can try to meet up?
Quiznight? I am preparing a quiz evening, will be light hearted and a good quantity of biking questions as well as the usual sorta stuff.
date/venue to be confirmed.
Ride outs.....has anyone got a favourite ride out they want to share?
If so let me know and we can make use of it this summer!
Andy
