Very pleasant bimble this today
Usual conditioned response from the moggies when I walked in through the door....dive straight for the ankles & coquettish "feed me" rubs & miouws
Only trouble is I'm completely unaware in lid and big boots....sorry pussy cat. Judging by the blood curdling howl those cruiser boots really hurt
Went into local town, round the in and out barriers in the car park ( I find that so satisfying when the cagers have to pay)....... Then filtered about a mile of traffic and awayyyyyyyyyyyyy. Plus a half a coke outside the local posers pub ha ha and gained another compliment about me bike off an old fella who apparently used to deliver Nortons. So not too bad really
Went to view a Rental house a few miles away, when I got there it had the number 13 on the door, so I decided not for me, I've had enough bad luck to last a lifetime!
Absolutely soaked. Got to mop the floor now where I dripped all over it
But that's the last lesson before mod 1.
I can't do any more, I'm ready....just need to pass the bugger.
I just hope I'm not too damaged by cone-a-phobia
First sunny day in aeons up here, which was good cos I did my Mod1 test this morning....but failed which isn't very good.
The weather conditions meant I had to cope with blinding sun light reflecting off wet tarmac....not had much experience coping with that this summer!
Went down to the Blackburn test site with my bike on my instructor's trailer. On the way back he dropped me off in Lancaster. Stopped off at the honda dealers & been put on a mailing list for when they get lowered bikes brought in part-x. Beautiful bimble back to Kendal via Morecambe prom, stopped to admire the colours on the mountains across the Bay, chunky kit-kat....tis good and and a brilliant reminder why it matters so much
Pootling up town at 5pm this evening. Kendal is not exactly a megacity but we can do a damn fine traffic jam up the main street.
I'm sat there in stationary traffic, look up the side of all the cars & think, hmmm there's room for a little suzuki up there....bugger it, went for it!
Never had the courage to filter before & good to see all that bloody practicing of the slow walk is paying off
It feels great, doesn't it Minnie, filtering for the first time lol
Don't think of it as 'failing' but as 'experience' it all adds up. Good luck for your next one.
