Simple but effective. Not so keen on the plain black but the black and red work well together.
I believe the idea about a motorbike on the logo was so people would know we were a biking site, but the helmets on yours has shown this!!! well done!
Matt, I'm bowing out gracefully from the logo designing as I think TC's work really well.......and by the time I've got mine drawn with the way things are going here - it might nearly be Christmas!!!

Matt - have uploaded some more images to my profile with your colour scheme on it.
I have tried to match the colours to the lilac used in your topbar (R150 G154 B206) but if you let me know the exact colour I can use that if necessary.

Just uploaded a new set of logos to my profile with revised colour scheme (in folder BM Logo Version 2).
Matt - although I am not a huge fan of 3D effects and shading on logos (it causes no end of problem in production) I have made a set with dropshadows behind them which should fit in with the other icons used on your website.
looks good mate but the shading didn't come out too well. Just so it doesn't look "flat" that's all. When you upload to BM it could be screwing it up cos it converts your files to compressed jpgs
yep... and that is why I hate shading on small images....
Will have a think - need a little bit of a rest from it now and will come back with fresh eyes.

Liking the logo you posted on 23rd Matt. Would have swapped the text colours to oppose main logo colours....but think this one is classy,timeless and gets the site ethos over in a nutshell. Are we there yet ???
