I have a "particular" reason to feel cheerful
Thanks to the enormous generosity of a selfless BMer
I WILL be at the Pudding Rally
I'm soooo looking forward to this now
Here's to a great weekend peeps
Well I don't know about "cheerful"
I think it's more like "tearful"
Tears of joy that is
I am privileged to be in the company of such lovely people, who I affectionately call "my BM family"
I am humbled by your overwhelming generosity
(you know who you are)
I try my best to be helpful and encouraging to those around me
But I never dreamed of nor expected anything in return
I do what I do because it makes me "feel good"
That to me is sufficient reward
What you have done for me is beyond what anyone
could believe possible
I will be eternally grateful and do my utmost to live up to your expectations
Is there a cloud above cloud 9?
Serious ego stroking today. Had my Performance & Development Review (enough to depress anyone at the best of times) and I was surprised to find out that I was better at my job and more appreciated that I realised. After the year I have had, it was very welcome.
Got to be a reason to be cheerful.
