Looking forward to this Sunday a good day out in some good company, looking forward to seeing the you all again and meeting some new faces.
Andy are you not coming to the Gamecock on the 5th of April ?? cos you not got your name down yet , surely you not going to make Sarah ride up on her own. Will you take yourself by the scruff of the neck and have a word with yourself .
He'd better be going Dave! I'll give him a kick tomorrow and tell him to get his backside into gear.
I think all details are sorted for this one, except for the route to take for rideout after the train ride. Are we planning ahead or just working something out on the day?
Also, is anybody else booked in to see the Bootleg Beatles in the evening? Andy forgot to book, and when I tried the other day they were sold out! So we're not going
Finally, remember that the clocks go forward this weekend.
Any queries please pm me and I'll try to help.
you can imply the xj is slow andy but i now have official proof it will do 99 mph. The certificate does unfortunately cost £60 and puts three points on yer licence for it's posession, but if not for a jolly decent young man in a rather fetching car i could have had a different certificate which could have cost me an awful lot more. Have fun tomorrow, i will be thinking of you all while i am at work.
You're a very naughty boy XJ, hold your right hand put and give it a slap with your other hand and tell it in a stern manner "It's a bad bad hand for openning the throttle so much".
it has had a very very stern talking to today. in fact it spent a lot of time on the naughty step. supernanny recomends one minute per year old. it was on the step for bloody hours. it promised to behave itself and it did too all day, until it was time to come home. i think my hand is just too heavy to hold up and my wrist keeps falling down.
Hello everybody peeps,
It looks like I cocked up big time this morning. I thought 2 hours would be plenty of time (and yes I did put my clocks forward). Left at approx. 08-00 it was foggy and a bit cold, I only wore my leathers, 1st mistake as they were not warm enough. I decided to take the scenic route, avoiding dual carraigeway's. Some how I took awrong turn at Tonbridge and ended up on the Lewis road. I thought the best way was to cut back accross through the lanes to Cranbrook, but got totally lost more than once. However I rode down some brilliant roads and appart from being frozen I had a good time. I got to Tenterden quite late about 11-00 ish. Saw your bikes and thought I would look around the station and museum, then coffee and watch the steam trains come in and out. After a couple of hours I thought it best to go for another ride out. Any way all in all I had a very good day and ended up covering about 130 -140 miles. I will have to meet up with you guys on another day and next time I think a map will be the order of the day.
Sorry to everyone who was there.
I hope it all went well for you.
I have posted some photo's but as you will see there is no peeps in them.
Hi all, hope you all had a good time on the 'Steamer of a Day', was not able to come along due to other commitment's.

I would have done if i'd seen it earlier Andy.
I'm thinking about going for a ride next Thursday and ending up at the Gamecock if anyone is up for it.
I've nowhere planned yet, I might start at the Chatham Naval Memorial, my grandad's name is on it and I'll like to pay my respect to a man I never had a chance of knowing and too other men like him who only have the sea for a grave.
Am going to submit an event for the calendar as follows:-
29 April - Battle of Britain Grasstrack Racing
Sandhurst Bridge Farm, Frittenden, Kent, TN17 2ED
First race: 1pm
Anyone interested please get your names down - not long to go til this one.
