Hmmmm ... XK !!! I am not sure that 1. The washing line will hold 2. I have a skirt ... took Mr_P 3 hours shopping before I chose a DRESS !! 3. That we would have gentle breezes ... after all we are at the end of Woodhead pass !! But .... Ian says will try at the weekend & let you know the results ***just heard him saying may need bigger pegs***

You can get those heavy duty metal ones that they use on market stall covers Ian 1 on each toe should sort it, if you double the line and twist em together **** a sturdy clothes prop or two might prove useful **** expect to see pics

I won't mention a carpet beater, then (psst - this could be a good fundraiser for the rally)

I'm no expert Cassie yes I've mashalled a few events but never ran one apart from my free camping weekend last year (required no running as no need to pay out for bands security portable loos etc! The only thing that may put some off I think could be the age restriction at 16! A lot of our members have Kids around 8-15 and they love going to rallies with their perant/s! Is that due to all thinking they do not want kids at a rally? Or was it purely an insurance restriction? Public Liability Insurance should not cost more on ages of those attending. Our Club is covered by BMF affilliation which allows all our bike nights camping weekends (and hopefully next year our 1st rally in a long time) to be covered against a personal injury/loss claim against the Club.

I believe its something to do with the fact that the site is next to a fast flowing river(which the insurance co know about). Too much of a liability to have young children there

Totally right there DC The river, even though the area will be fenced off, is a serious concern and the safety of baby bikers cannot be guaranteed during the event. We consiered nailing them to the nearest fence, however we imagined some might find this wrong I have two children (14 & 16) who would've loved to come to the rally as they love the rally scene, but even I can't bring them. And that's coming from one of the rally organising group members!!!!!!!
