JP I am assuming guinness means to immerse the marshmallows AFTER they are toasted. I might even bring some sweetmeats with a dutch origin that will wow BJ with her ice cream.
Invicta Gloria!

For no other reason than its an excuse to camp and annoy each other at close quarters and eat ice cream and build sandcastles and fly a kite (previous kite offs being won by Herself, not that she is bragging lol) and create general merriment and ride some fab biking roads on Friday 12th Sept until Sunday 14th Sept we shall be descending on Barmouth.
Different campsite than previously used
The Barns Campsite and Pet Farm
Fford Tyydyn Felin
Talybont
Gwynedd
LL43 2AP
Its £5 per person per night, payment on arrival.
Shower/toilet block onsite
Staggering distance to the pub, shop and pizza place (just for JP), stroll to the beach and if you fancy it the train station is just over the road for a wee trip into Barmouth town itself (ice cream shop is there not that she is hinting Mr Ken)
It may also be a couple of folks birthdays that weekend, So it's a beer and Bbq on the sat afternoon there may even be the odd slice of cake past around.
Get your name down on the events page.
NO NEED TO PRE BOOK, NO DEPOSIT NEEDED, PAY ON ARRIVAL

JP do you think we're pyromaniacs? I've done the risks assessment and set in place a supper soaker just in case the marshmallows gets greedy with the said Brandy but I'll sign the wee disclaimer stating it's not my responsibility it's 66 then again you could always come to the rescue with your bucket lol

Thats fine sally Im more that happy with the " Let's blame Kev option "
The coming to the rescue with a bucket of water will end up going over you so best not try that yet

Whats occuring? is my name being taken in vain?, JP are you being the number one goiter again? H&S at it's finest(?)

I reckon the only reason JP has suggested this icecube challenge, or whatever it is called, is because he is afraid of being politically incorrect by announcing he wants to start a wet t-shirt contest!!!! Shame on you JP, wanting to see nubile laydeez in sodden clobber.

Let me be very clear on this I was challenged by Maryann and it is my duty to step forward and take it on the chin, The fact that some Female members have said they will take part in this shows they are up for a laugh and braver than most of the male members of BM shown by the names on the list. The Idea of a wet T shirt contest never entered my tiny little mind.

oh yes I see, we believe you JP. (millions wont!)
Indeed, you are the bravest of the brave, but no doubt there will be further nominations as the challenge goes forward, so I am guessing you will not be the only man who gets a dowsing.
I have seen vids on FB but am unsure how the charity benefits from this activity. Do the nominees have to pay for the privilige of a soaking? or is it only those who retire from the challenge have to fork out?

Both we will be putting a bucket round and sending it off to one of the cancer charity's not aiming to raise £100s but a few £ will be helpfull as I know a few Bm members are suffering from cancer at the moment.

Now things are a bit clearer, I will put a tenner in the bucket AND do the challenge.

ah but JP, those who don't put their names down can of course be nominated, and if they refuse the challenge a healthy donation will be only the right thing to do.

Looking forward to this, its going to be a bit of a road trip for me, I am starting out this Thursday thanks to a friend being able to come and look after my house and fish. I will be going a bit of a scenic route.

Enstone - Rhondda Valley - Talybont and where ever else my travels take me in between.

All this driving will be accompanied by me singing Lets go Fly and Kite and random stuff like that while my pet biker duck sits next to me in the passenger seat reading the map and looking for decent ponds/lakes to camp next to.

Not a bad road trip for a single 84yr old to be doing, hope I can put my knitting down long enough to keep safe on the road. Will apologise now for those waiting for string vests and poodle toilet roll covers I will need to concentrate on my driving so there may be a delay in your orders getting done.

Its ok don't be scared those that haven't had the pleasure of meeting me yet, once I start on the liquid meds I am harmless, giggly but harmless.

See you all there, who knows if the liquid meds kick in too early I might even two of you all.

Safe drive or ride how ever your getting there.

Have spoken with Debbie at the campsite and all is well for this weekend. Dont forget folks, when you arrive, the campsite is to your right, Debbie lives to your left, mind you check in and pay her at some point :)
