Altho we didn't camp, last year, by the time we eventually rocked up to the pub about 9pm I think (dark and foggy, got lost) we couldn't get anything to eat there, we had to look for somewhere that was open on our way home, we ended up at a MacDs, 24hr opening
The urn was available from mid afternoon Friday right through to Sunday afternoon so don't know why you couldn't get a cuppa on arrival Alice.
Sandi, food did finish at 9.00 pm but then there were fantastic cheeseburgers from 11.00 pm, and I didn't even know you were there so what's your excuse for not saying hello; lol.
Hi Simon
I wasn't feeling well.
Originally I didn't want to go but changed my mind but shouldn't have gone really. It's a bit far for me on a bike, and it was cold and foggy.
I asked for a cuppa when we got there and Nellie said the staff said that finished too, (I can't drink alcohol or fizzy pop) they didn't tell us about the urn, I learned about that afterwards.
I spoke to a new member (female) and she just disappeared, never heard from her since, I hope she was ok. Can't remember her name. Maybe she was a ghost? lol
Glad I flagged this one up then, Simon. Cos I didn't track the urn down til Sat morning either!! Will be better prepared this time...and it was a great weekend urn or no urn :>>>
Sandi, I think I know the new member concerned. She did vanish after the event. I helped her carry her tent from her car, helped her pitch, and haven't seen her since.
Provisonal arrangement at the moment, but The Rooters (Friday night band) may perform an acoustic set on Saturday afternoon sitting around on the patio.
