The remote control dalek presented on Christmas Day to the youngest gave up the ghost today. Fluff in the gear train. Out with the screwdrivers - what doesn't Haynes make a bloody dalek manual???? Anyway, the damn thing's working again and a little girl thinks her dad can do anything. One day she's going to be horribly disappointed...
Otherwise I've cooked every meal the last two days, washed up every dish, made every bed and acted as the kids' taxi service. They call this a holiday? But I'm still smiling, even tho' the teeth may be slightly clenched.
Still suffering with food poisoning from last tuesday! My bum is like the TV times....I never knew there was so much in it!..............yeah I know...shut up!
After a fantastic Christmas..with my lovely girls...friends and family...I was back at home briefly to pack my eldest off to her Nans for the rest of the holiday...She is going to have a lovely time with her other family and she will be seeing all her cousins and going to Leeds to see her Uncle, Aunt and Cousin. So it was a quick dash round...and long drive there and back...It is always worth it...I love seeing my ex in laws they are such lovely people. Fays other Aunt was there with her three small children, so all my three girls had a lovely time..To top the day off I visited my best friend of over 20yrs, who is absolutely lovely and her daughter and my twins had a fantastic time...home eventually and a lovely Chinese takeaway...YUMMY! Now catching up with days and days of postings I have missed on BM whilst I was away...Where are all the happy people I was hoping to see when I got back????????????
went out on bike, did 50 miles around the country lanes....came home...went out in car with top down did 80 miles and had a HUGE burger at little chef in Morcott....drove home fell asleep:o)
Today I have festered in my flat with this shitty cold and cough and getting so pissed off with it not going and not being able to take any drugs for it!!!!!!

Well was supposed to be in Leeds, Paprika my red Polo decided otherwise and had to come home!!! Naughty Paprika!! Much to H&H's disgust...mind you we have rescheduled this weekend for another so noone was upset....just not looking forward to the bill!
So if anyone wants a double room in Travelodge Colton tonight? then pm me and I will give you the details...you can check in til late...it is a shame to have wasted it! Will be back though!
