I'd like to just mention to everyone, that love and hugs don't come in parcel shapes and that your presence means much more than your presents.

Whilst it's lovely that some of my long-time biking buddies are choosing to mark this (bloody !!) occasion, it will be great just to be surrounded by you crazy lot

I'm sure the same can be said for exup and sherry...but I know that Noddy is collating a list of IOU's at the bar

Ready to paaaaaaaaaarty

No booking of meals, cafe grub is ordered, and paid for, at the bar upstairs. If you want a carvery that's downstairs in the restaurant. You pay for your carvery at the downstairs bar and are given a laminated credit-type card which you then pass on to the lass serving the carvery food. One course is £7, if you order a pudding with your carvery meal, or after you've eaten your carvery meal, it will be a reduced price. As the restaurant isn't bookable neither are the meals, first come first served.

just to say if you are coming down on the Saturday to stay for the Sunday then the carvery won't be on from Saturday afternoon /evening - due to the function room being booked for the Saturday party

The carvery is only on on SUNDAYS, finishes about 4pm or half 4, can't remember which.

ah ok - I seem to remember the staff asking whether I wanted the carvery or not - maybe you can get it booked for special occasions then at extra cost

I sit corrected, I didn't know that. Good to know, for future ref', that it can be made available tho. Ta for that info exup. BTW everyone, when I said reduced price if you have a main course I meant the pudding was reduced price, not the main course. Sorry if I confused anyone.

As long as its the price that's reduced and not the size of pudding
