Had a blustery ride down to Bottesford this morning and rode through 2 floods on the A614. But then a great ride back from Melton Mowbray and I saw the sun.
Didnt make it to the toy run as got up too late (no suprise there then ) bt had a lovely blast oot on me bike, was cold and came across a few flooded bits on roads bt was brill and got home before it got dark lol
Wheeled it out of the garage and left it running while I got Christmas decorations out, then put it back and turned it off - too bloody cold out there to take it on a run!
Just getting over illness - still not 100%, so only cleaned Fanny (that's the name of my Crossrunner - don't ask, might start another thread) ready for ride up to Squires meal next week. Wanted to go for a ride, but didn't quite feel up to it even in todays good weather. Couldn't have managed partys either.
A bit disappointed how quickly Crossrunners starting to look shabby under engine casings for a 5 month old bike. Not a patch on my 15 year old Firestorms quality of finish).
oooo i can finally say i sat on wench, fired her up, giggled my arse off at just how loud she is and i rocked her over 3" to either side to check the new balance and i DIDN'T drop her.....
light as a feather now, new screen, mirrors, exhaust etc etc etc now look fab-my ste has done an ace job rewiring, fitting a plate for the reg rec, fitted a battery cover and more or less completely rebuilt her so there's nowt left to go wrong.... chance of riding her however before next feb is slim and none-far too freezy freezy xx
