well it looks like you all had a great time yesterday.Sos I couldn't make it - but I had a stinking hangover from Saturday & didn't fancy the drive over the hills with all the snow etc! Will try & make the next one
u big softies not making it cos of the weather! Especially on the M1/M25... I did like 300+ miles up there and it was easy.
Did get there at about 3ish, and if you saw a bike going so fast that you'd miss it if u blinked - then it wud have been me :-)
Tell you what though - it took me longer getting to Manchester from Matlock than it did to get to Matlock from London! Was a nightmare journey, couldn't see a think with the snow and water on my visor.
Thanks to everyone who turned up, it was great to meet you. Sorry I didn't get chance to spend long with everyone, and sorry for getting there so late. Had a big problem trying to get accross London (To pick my bike up) cos of the olympic torch - Police had closed everything off, so the taxi couldn't get to Kings Cross station for me (Which meant walking and I had to figure out how to do it all on my own - first time in london lol).
See u all again soon hopefully
Yes, the first batch of pictures were mine. Flattery will get you everywhere - glad you like 'em. Doubt if I'm going to put TM60 out of business, though!
Fantastic photo's Wills!!!
Me and Dave got caught in the snow just outside of Leeds, managed to get back without frost bite!! JUST!!!
A MASSIVE THANK YOU to you darlin for getting us home SAFE
Yet another fantastic day meeting up with all our new mates at Matlock Bath. Great ride down in (reasonably) nice weather, great craic, great cake and finally getting to meet the dude himself (doesn't he look young?!?!)
Cassie and I had a brill time even though the journey home was of epic proportions, my left hand was worn out wiping snow off the visor .
Ghosthunter - hope you're okay mate. We heard about your wee mishap and hope you're not too badly hurt.
