I for one appreciate all the work that has gone behind the scenes to make this a get together for like minded people. The saying "you cant please all of the people all the time" springs to mind. The venture was for those who wanted to get together at a small event and some of the negative comments have put a sour note on this. This is not a MAG event! People will go who want to, others who don't, don't have to. But for those folks posting who have put a negative slant on it, please remember the length of time people who wanted to organise it have taken. A lot of their own time and effort for the rest of us to enjoy a get together, and thats what the intention was and is. If this is not for you and you want EVERYTHING to be just as you want it, then theres plenty of big rallies available, which the organisers, over the years have learned from and taken into account!!
Mag ralliys are not ran by Mag themselves they generally are far to big these days to be ran from Mag central, they are ran by teams of dedicated people who just do that all rally season through. (generally speaking Farmyard takes around 1500 people bothe front of house as it were and behind the scenes to run it as smoothly as it is ran) do not forget people this is a 1ST time rally ran by a new "club" and rallies on this level there will be some mistakes made but as far as this "neutral" observer can see most things have been disscussed at length to try make it as "Freindly" as possable to the majority of people on this site! With few objections to certain decissions made allong the way. I am wanting to go to the rally for two reasons 1 to help support (just by buying a ticket in the 1st place) and to also take a look at the site as our club is always looking for some where new to do a Club camping weekend! If asked I will also think about marshalling but I as stated before am no expert on actually running a rally.

Well said Hull
I know of a good pub with a field at the back in my neck of the woods mate if your club fancies getting together up this way. They hold all sorts of 'events' in the summer from scooter club to caravan meets and would welcome a group of heavy drinking biker folk
Right well thats me guns polished so what we fighting about tonight??
the friendly bikers are not a huge organisation so I deem this rally to be at "club" level and I doubt I'm going to be proved wrong in my slant on it!
Dispite any attempt to be deflamatery "EEeeep" indeed.
I will not be drawn into long winded and needless discussions on what I mean it was fairly obvious.
Hull you are right in saying club level in a way.
When it comes to bike clubs there are a whole range of things that can define a club. Big,small,male,female,male/female,no patch, front patch, side patch, back patch,UK only,European,Worldwide, the list goes on.
I suppose a group of people organizing things such as a rally and riding together could be termed a club, even without any form of patch to recognize them by.
Maybe this could be the start of an officially recognized club for want of a better terminology.
Cheers Ricdude
It's entirely upto yourselves to recongise weather or not you Friendlies constitute a club, but as you have all ready recognised I was referring to the actual size of the organisation behind the "rally"
Cheers Rusty either pm me or we can chat at the rally.
Eeep is not meant to be inflammatory...my previous post explained the joy behind an "eeeep" moment.
I asked if club and the definition of it should be discussed elsewhere, and am not even going to attempt to prove you wrong or right.

Not sure of costs Hull but I don't think they actually charge for the field and not being a farmer I can't tell you how big it is but its a hell of a size! They also have some cottages attached to the back of the pub. It's far enough away from built up areas to be as noisy as you like but 15 mins from Tescos for your top ups! Decent drinking pub, nice pint and friendly peeps like me get in there
