As far as I'm aware if your profile is disabled so your photo doesn't show up in an event you've added your name to then no-one can see it, mods included.

xSuzix you need to contact Boss Mom for this info but I can tell you that last year there were no tickets on the gate and it was advance purchase only. I would imagine that this year will be the same but best to contact the organisors to confirm this information. As for final purchase date, they're not available yet. Last year was about a week before the event, although I think this year it might sell out early so I guess you need to decide where you want to be that weekend. As you missed last year I reccomend you try to get there this year.

thanks simon - that means i will have to make a decision a few months before an event rather than the week before lol ...i only usually do that very few times a year!!! thanks for the info anyhoooo

as above, i only get 2 out of every 8 week ends off, and last year was not sure if i could get the time off untill the week before, and was "told" via here that could not get tickets on the day. or at the gate.... as i only returned from a euro trip 2 days before, i missed it. id probably have ridden down (couple of hundred miles) on the day for the ride out, but again unfortunatly, (i thing wrongly) had "heard" that this was not allowed on the day. sometimes with so many posts on a thread its tricky to sift through months in advance! ok and breathe!!!

oldyeti I think you will find that there is no problem with you riding down on the day for a ride out. BM only events are pretty flexible! Check with jpharley.

As David said, I don't think there's a problem with people coming down for a day visit but best to check with the Midlands Event Team to confirm this. Last year advanced tickets were available until just a few days before the event so not a problem in that regard however, due to the success of last year's event I suspect this year will sell out well in advance. Like many popular rallies, tickets sell and if you leave it to the last minute there is a chance they will have sold out. I appreciate this may be awkward for those who don't know in advance when they're working, but if tickets sell out there's little that can be done and this applies to quite a few rallies around the country not just Kiss.

Indeed, anyone is welcome to join us for the day for the ride-outs etc. if they find that's all they can manage - it was all over last year's thread about day-trippers being welcome. However, wristbands/tickets will be required for entry to the venue for evening entertainment etc. as well as camping and any special price menu set up for us by the venue. Tickets were on sale last year up to a couple of days before the event and we will let you know well in advance of any cut-off point this year too so that no-one misses out. If you have any questions regarding tickets/t-shirts etc. or any special requests please PM me. There are FOUR of us organising this event for you, and each of us are responsible for various aspects of the rally but if you get in touch with myself or Jackie initially I'm sure one of us can get an answer to you With the success of last year's rally it is quite possible that this year will be a sell-out so any of you who can I suggest buying tickets as soon as they go on sale rather than risk missing out. We will be offering t-shirts (fitted or standard), hoodies (zipped or standard) and ladies vest tops this year BEFORE the rally and hopefully some of you will already have spotted the design/colouring on myself, BJ, JP or Ken over the last couple of months at events. There will be photos or a link posted on the event page when they go on sale though. Phew, need a lay down after typing all that!

Tickets are not permitted to be passed around or sold as the KISS Rally is a private rally (invitation only as it were) unlike Farmyard for instance which is public. Different H&S rules apply for both, insurance is different for instance, public being very much more expensive and would impact on the price you pay just for one example. If anybody is unsure about whether they can go or they need more than 1 ticket, then its best to leave it until later and you know for sure what your circumstances are.

150 members have their name down already, so don't leave it too long to get your tickets. http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/event_details.asp?event_id=2613 Jackie said: Tickets are not permitted to be passed around or sold as the KISS Rally is a private rally (invitation only as it were) unlike Farmyard for instance which is public.
