Well we've just hit the 50 mark and even if only half turn up this will be a great weekend. There's around 20 new people coming on their own so far. If anyone doesn't fancy the camping thing but just wants to call in and stop for a few hours to meet some new faces it'll be great to see you here. If the weathers crap we've got plenty of shelter in the pub
ledd I don't follow footy and haven't a clue what you're talking about but see you at the weekend
Just knew that ledd fella was a nutter!!..Fit in well methinks
Proper camping eh! That,s why they grew hedgerows for us blokes!
And Ewan..You never had a wet-wipe shower??

I've just been to the pub again and we now have a portaloo, 4 standpipes with real clean water coming out and an outside BBQ in the beer garden with benches, talk about 5 star camping!
XLNT!
Camera's fully charged, rucksack's out and list of stuff written!!
Roll on the weekend & it's a short week too
PS, hope there's no nettles in the hedges, had a bad experience when night fishing once
Nawe there's a massive shower just outside Middleton Teesdale it comes out at a very 'High Force' or so im told,so if you don't feel fresh after that ya might as well jump in the river lol....

skinny, there's loos in the pub which is 20 yards away and a portaloo for the night shift
They've cut the grass for the camping area since I was last there and there's a few undulations in the ground so first come first served with the pitches and they've only cut enough ground for about 50 tents so if quite a few turn up this might be cosy. I'm setting up a couple of small shelters on Thurs night with a chimnea in the centre and there's loads of wood to burn but they're building a bonfire for guy forkes night and anyone going near it with a match could end up being the guy according to the locals!!
Only 2 rules, don't set light to the bonfire (we can pinch wood from it for the chimnea) and clean up your pitch when you leave or we'll never get a freebie weekend again. fair enough me thinks
Ratio of port-a-loos to campers is down right luxury compared to ANY rally/meet i've been to - sounds at if this is going to be a great weekend, looking forward to meeting you all ps you've done a superb job getting all this arrange RK - thanks.
not a problem with real camping.. do it regular.. just inquired so i know what to pack... i'm off to the download on the folowing weds.. so may just not wash in prep for that lol

i can imagine there'll be quite a queue to rub the cream in if it happens again skinny
