took me hammer and tent pegs there last Sunday, got some strange look from people as i walked around knocking pegs in every where, but so what i always seem to get strange looks of people, anyway near rocks its hard under the grass may need steel pegs strong ones if you have them, the lower level is quite soft if you have long plastic pegs these should be best, will take all the pegs i have and a hammer.

Who ever is closest pop into the local iron mongers and buy a box of 6 " nails and bring a hammer lol........
alternatively go into an army navy store and ask if they have any KIP sheets they come in a sealed bag, the alloy pegs in there are designed for anything......originally used in the construction of slit trench over head protection...comes in a sealed bag about a foot long and 4 inches wide...good strong tarp inside and lots of white para cord...
