Brill day ooot on bikes with lynn
Took orf on all the smaller roads including via gelia... be rude not to , sun was out,
Roads were covered in horse sh, cement, mulched leaves, mud, rivers of water bt who cares it was ACE
Had a day off my bike today, but 2 days doing about 200 mile in all in this weather.... yay! Out again tomorrow with Suzi and a few other friends hopefully, gotta make the most of this weather while we can, would be rude not to.... Thank God for AFC50 pmsl
Hmmmm went out on me beasty.....
Got 15 miles from home and just thought... ya know what, fog is sh*t, dont feel right and sod it i'm not goin any further!!
Ever get one of those days ....
Shame Suzi, fog was bad-ish round CMC, went further on to Matlock, was a bit bad on way, but then shortly before Matlock it cleared. Had a cuppa there on the strip and then went back via Bakewell, was out about 3 hours and it was great, could have gone on for hours today.... Probably the last time for a little while to be able to go, getting colder again and work starts tomorrow.... Roll on spring...
IMO fog is the bikers worst enemy
Of all the "adverse" weather conditions this tops the list for me
I think you were quite right to abandon your ride Suzi
If you don't have to ride in fog then best to avoid it
No point exposing yourself to unnecessary danger
There will be other days when the conditions are better
Wednesday looks set to be a good day
I hope you get out and enjoy it
Guess I'm very much in the minority here but i actually enjoy riding in fog, i love the feeling of isolation it gives you! Just as well really coz I went over to Tan Hill for lunch today and then over the Buttertubs pass to Hawes & the highest 2 or 3 miles of the pass was buried in low cloud, brilliant!
Hey Centurion wish id know I would of joined yer, took my son out for cruise for few hours he loved it back out again tmorow cos the brats are back to school woooooooooooooooop
I them really
Out with my friend Trish around north wales stopped in Betws y Coed for a coffee then onto Eric's cafe in Tremdog but he was shut then home for a nice hot cuppa to warm up
Good for you JP
It's good "therapy" to have a little "tinker" with yer bike
I'm sure V will turn a "blind eye" on this occasion
In the interest of recuperation
Just try not to get "caught in the act"
I was going to change the brake pads and rear disk in the RK but was stumped when I needed a 1/4 inch 12 point socket (I haven't got one) to remove the pins that hold the pads in place!
