there are a few pubs in barmouth 5 miles away, a local pub 10 mins walk, or a club on the next site as for the ale couldnt say as i dont drink lol still leaves more for them that do
Real Ale pubs in Barmouth, and a nice train journey from the site into the town (and back!)
The best pub has been mentioned in these posts somewhere, cannot trawl through at the moment to find it!
Its about 60 seconds walk from Barmouth train station.
Limited train services daily though, and they're seriously curtailed on a Sunday, so you need to study the timetable!
(I did trawl through the posts and my favourite Real Ale pub in Barmouth is called 'The Tal-Y-Don Hotel')
Harry, there's a decent pub 10 mins walk away with some decent ale in can't remember now what they sell, but as you're from London...it's gotta be better (only joking...honest)
Thanks Holmfirthgirl I'll leave the beer at home then and just bring some of the red stuff with a cork. How about local food or is it cook what you catch?
lol @ harry
"How about local food or is it cook what you catch?"
A bloody hope not coz the only thing a intent to catch is a tall dark handsome man lol
We spent a typical BM style nite in the pub thats about a 10 min stroll away, next to a river, beer mat tossing competition, cheating at cards and generally having a laugh with the locals :)
Ok turn left, over the river (bridge) then turn right, just follow the river to the pub and mine's a pint please .
Or get in the river at the camp site and wade up said river until you come to the pub which will be on your left. and my fee is another pint for these second directions TA.
Ok time we realy get these camps moving now I would realy like to see us fill the site up so come on get booking I know your thinking about the weather but as my dad always says it never rains in the pub
