I will see you and Dave there then Deb I will have a red bike . On the riding gear front John. It is really down to personal taste. Leathers or good quality textiles are the norm. I personally like two piece textile suit with armour and is goretex. I have one from Hein Gericke. It is a bit pricey but is for me more confortable than leathers. and keeps you warm and dry.

hi jhon i think for me a combo of textile gore tex jacket (i like dianse) and leather pants (spidi teker pro lots of comfy strechy stuff) have served me proud in all weathers, if you keep the brands the same you can zip the pants and jacket together

I like my leathers and wouldn't have anything else

I got mine from JTS and they are great quality:-

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you did not do than by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines (or get that bike off the centre/side stand).

Sail away (or ride away) from the safe harbour (or haven). Catch the trade winds in your sails (or hopefully behind your bike). Explore, Dream, Discover!

ps: if you can aim to still look good in leather or lycra by the time your 90. Then you are doing extremely well...he he he

Great philosophy Michelle . Although i won't be wearing any sort of lycra when i'm 90 ! Most probably something like 'Tena for old Men'
