As soon as I release the events section, i will then. Think it went in Julys newsletter actually, and we can put it in the august one too... and each monthly newsletter until the event. Then ill send out one specific email 2 weeks before the event.
Its important that the events section is done though, so that we can see who will be going.
Hoping to have this complete by the end of this weekend, but it's a big section.
I want to get the basics launched (Adding events, viewing etc) like I did with the chatroom and then I can build on that over time.
I do need some suggestions though from everyone....
What categories do we need?
Bike rallies, rock gigs, speed dating, etc etc....

Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming. Around 10 would be good so we dont get one category being chosen all the time.
Its coming on well though folks. You can now view a calendar, navigate back and forth, add events, moderator events (to prevent abuse), upload photos of events, view a map, add yourself to an attendance list.... and more to come.
I need a beer though now, speak tomorrow folks.

For info folks - I'm taking 2 days off work to get this sorted out once and for all. Let see how I get on (Its a big section though)
