forgot to say, last time...always got at least two terry pratchet paperbacks open somewhere, guards, guards andcolor of magic rereads at the moment.keep turnin' them pages, and peel me another grape, jeeves.
Yeah, I've read all of Pratchet's books at least once, real shame about his health problems.
Grizzly, the Sharp and Starbuck books are good but so are some of Cornwells others, I've read his 100 years war amd Arthurian books too and they're all well worth reading.
Sven Hassel, yeah BJ, read all of those when I was younger, real blood 'n' guts stuff!!!
Somebody bought me a Kindle for xmas (thats what I'm-re-reading Sherlock Holmes on) but I'm still not sure about it, yeah its easy to carry around on the bike but its just not the same as opening a real, proper book, and pretty lousy for twatting spiders with....
Half way through george rr martins series 'a song of ice and fire' for the third time now. Switch out to dean koontz, steig Larson or Jo nesbo inbetween. Latest Jo nesbo was outstanding!
Fatal Revenant (second book in the last 3 of the Thomas Covenant Chronicles) by Stephen Donaldson. It's a bit of a struggle as I'm really not fond of the main character (she's a bit of a whinger) but I've loved all the previous books in the series.
now onto Mr. Hitchcock,by Quentin Falk.....photo autobiograhy, mostly black and white shots, but fascinating stuff....he reckons hitchcock was celibate for 40 years................know how that feels!hahahahaha
