This Matlock Bath run looks like fun. Just met up with Vonnie for a quick chat and beer and we wouldn't mind trying to make one . Our main issue is the 280 odd miles to get there. What's accomobation like down there - or does anyone in the area have free space to stay over ?
Also, what time do you normally get there ? Google maps reckons it's about 5hrs ride which probably isn't far off in touring mode. Our other consideration, of course, is fuel costs. The Duc did 150miles on 12.79quid touring back from RnB, so we're probably looking at 60quid to be safe. Don't what Vonnies 600 bandit does fuel wise. We would have to leave about 7am to get their for lunchtime .
If we can't make one of the Matlock runs, is there anywhere nearer to us that could be a suitable venue for a run ? Or can we move Matlock up here

and i am working on the ability to kee going in the right direction there i always hope dont take away my hope or there is nothing left

just looked on google earth they give scotch corner 130 miles or so thats ok for me ,i wonder if its central to a few more.have to pick a date and see if theres any interest ew / mr l
